Music has always been a passion in Enrique's life. Born in Houston, Texas and a son of a professional musician, Enrique identifies with both English and Spanish music equally. Enrique brings a musicianship & knowledge to his DJing that few others have.

Enrique attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston Texas, where he won state and national awards as a tenor saxophonist. On a scholarship, he attended the New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program in New York City.

Enrique has been on stage all of his life and feels at ease as being your master of ceremonies in English or in Spanish.

As a professional DJ, Enrique has been sharing his passion of music with people for over 19 years. Whatever the occasion or style of music, Enrique uses your musical preferences and his musical judgment to create just the right mood.

I guess if you were to ask me my philosophy, it’s that you are not the host of your event. You are the Guest Of Honor. And, by that, I mean your reception is your party, it’s the release of the pressure valve after months of planning. You want to laugh, dance, eat, drink, meet and greet, everything but worry about the nuts and bolts of it all.

That’s how I see my role. Yes, I know all genres of music, yes, I have over 400 events under my belt, yes, I have fifteen years in radio, ten years in improv, and a lifetime in show biz, but more than anything, I’m a facilitator. It’s not just my goal, it’s my passion to make your reception the best day of your life.

I want you to have fun. I want your guests to call your wedding the best ever. I want you to have beautiful pictures and video of a party that is not only incredible, but that is unique to you.

As such, I customize to your vision. I talk to you, I hear your fears and your dreams. I offer my years of experience to you and I combine that with how you see your event as your own.

1. Select a Professional/full-time DJ: Unfortunately there are for too many DJs who represent themselves as professional DJs while working in another line of work. A full-time DJ can give your wedding the attention it deserves versus part-time DJ will only be able to focus on your wedding when he can work it in around his “real” job. Also, like any other profession, only the best are able to do it full-time, for the rest, it is just a hobby. Your wedding deserves a professional.

2. Reputation, Reviews & Response: Make sure the DJ/Company has a good reputation. Any good DJ/Company will have written testimony or reviews online from previous clients raving about the service. Poor reviews or even a lack of is not a good sign. Finally observe their response time in returning calls, replying to emails or mailing correspondence. If their response time is not almost immediate, then your wedding is not a priority for them and you should look elsewhere

3. Meet your DJ before you choose him: You should not select a DJ until after you have interviewed him in person. Your DJ will be handling one of the most important days of your life. Remember your wedding celebration is about your individual style, taste, customs and vision. Whoever you choose to be your representative should take the time to learn what is important to you and then be there in person to fulfill that understanding.
